That's the heartbreaking reality many of Aiken County's most vulnerable seniors are now facing.
For the second time in six months, Aiken Senior Life Services is facing a funding shortfall for our vital Meals on Wheels program. This gap in government funding brings real uncertainty - but what remains certain is our unwavering commitment to the 208 seniors who count on us for a hot, nutritious meal each day.
We do not want to pause or reduce services. These meals are more than food - they are daily lifelines for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
