Description: Every Thanksgiving “The Blessing of the Hounds” takes place, bringing locals, descendants of the winter colonists, and holiday visitors together in Aiken. Originating near Brussels, Belgium by the first bishop of Liege, hunters have celebrated this ceremony annually. Learn more about this century-old tradition, and experience it first-hand before seeing the hunters off Thanksgiving morning!
