• Description: Learn about Aiken's rich history and culture through docent-led tours at four of the most prominent historical museums in town. Participants will have the opportunity to experience what local life was like through the eyes of historical artifacts and education. Please be mindful that this is a walk-heavy tour requiring stair climbing at various locations. Lunch will be provided and served to participants at 12:15pm.

• Time: 9:30 am departure from ASLS; 4:30 pm arrival at ASLS

• Description: Learn more about CSRA's rich history, culture, and the arts starting at the North Augusta Arts & Heritage Center before crossing the river to experience docent-led tours at three additional Augusta locations! Enjoy lunch at Farmhaus around 12:45 pm before visiting your last two stops and heading back to ASLS.

HORSIN’ AROUND AT GREAT OAK

• Date: Wednesday, November 29

• Time: 9:50 am departure from ASLS; 1:15 pm arrival at ASLS

• Description: Boundaries, bonding, and bravery are three of the most important things to keep in mind when interacting with horses. Learn what this means and more as you interact directly with the horses through grooming and other activities under the guidance of experienced Program Director, Eva! Attendees are to arrive at Great Oak from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, with a picnic lunch served at noon. Please arrive by 9:30 am for a 9:50 am departure. Lunch is included. Any participant interested in riding a horse must complete a liability waiver form and provide a doctor note giving approval to participate in the activity.
